mammootty double roles 2011


Megastar Mammootty will be coming up in a number of double roles in the movies that are destined to come out this year. The first one will be for the film named 'Bombay , March 12, the debutante film as a director from popular scriptwriter Babu Janardhanan. The movie based on the infamous Bombay blasts will have the megastar as a Brahman poojari named Sanathana Bhat and also as Ameer ,a  corporation worker at Aleppey.
Mammootty will be again cast in a double role in the new movie to be directed by M Padmakumar. The flick which will be based on the life of a famous real life politician of the current century, will also have him donning the role of his son in the later half. Interestingly, this project will  be also  scripted by Babu Janardhanan, based on the much popular real life happenings.

After creating a bunch of continuous hits in 'Marykkundoru Kunjadu' and 'Makeupman', hit maker Shafi  will team up with Mammootty for the new movie tentatively titled as 'Venicile Vyaapari. Another humorous flick in regular Shafi style, the movie will have Mammotty as a merchant based on Alappuzha,which is also called as Venice of the East. 'Classmates' fame James Albert is the scriptwriter of the movie, which will be on sets in a couple of months.

After the movie 'Mathilukal' which gathered a lot of accolades and awards for its lead actor Mammooty, the megastar will once again come up in a character written by famous litterateur Vaikom Muhammed Basheer. Mammootty will now become Majeed in the filmi translation of famous work 'BalyakalaSakhy.
To be directed by Pramod Payyannur,the movie will be told in the viewpoint of Majeed, who has reached Calcutta.The movie which will tell the complicated life situations of Majeed will also refer in its backdrop the political equations that led to the division of pre-independent India.The movie to be produced by Livin arts and Estheese media will have Shahzaaz Aman remixing a couple of  classic songs to be included in the narratives.
